Escapees RV Club Announces On-Demand RV Education
New program brings popular RVers’ Boot Camp online

LIVINGSTON, Texas. May 2017

Beginner and seasoned RVers have a new way to access RV education wherever their travels lead. Escapees RV Club recently announced RVers Online University (RVOU), a web-based resource for expert information on RV safety, maintenance and lifestyle needs.

RVers Online University brings Escapees’ well-loved RVers’ Boot Camp (RVBC) into the digital age at www.rversonlineuniversity.com, opening it up to hundreds more RVers than any one facility could accommodate for Boot Camp. RVOU offers instruction on a variety of RV-related topics including driving safety, personal safety, tow hitches and safety, weight management, RV systems, 12v power and more, taught by reliable industry experts. Users can take, and re-take, as many lessons as needed, complete knowledge assessments and have direct access to instructors for follow-up questions. Lessons come with printable handouts so that users have offline access to key information when needed.

“Our in-person RVers’ Boot Camp has been a great success, providing educational information and confidence to not only the new RVer but also veterans of the road,” says Travis Carr, President of Escapees RV Club. “However, it has lacked the ability to keep up with demand due to its popularity and requirement to be at a specific location at a specific time. We recognized that the need to obtain instant and reliable information is a necessity to many. While the internet is a great resource to gain free knowledge, it can also lead to conflicting or incorrect information resulting in hours of unnecessary research and judgment calls. More than a year in the making, RVers Online University eliminates this confusion by providing reliable, expert information from the same well-respected instructors of RVBC.  While the backbone of RVOU’s creation is operation, maintenance and safety provided by RVBC, we will continue to grow its content to cover a variety of topics by experts in their fields.”

As a leader in RV education, Escapees RV Club prides itself on supporting all RVers. RVOU is great for new or soon-to-be RVers, offering courses on choosing the best RV for your needs, understanding basic RV systems and how to maintain them, as well as driving instruction for handling emergencies. For more seasoned RVers, there are courses covering solar power, towing safety and weight management to help them make informed decisions that keep them safer. Courses on domicile, budgeting and similar RV lifestyle needs are planned for the near future.

Pre-registration for RVOU is now open. To join the waitlist for this program, visit escapees.com/rvou . Waitlist members will be the first to receive invitations to this program at a discounted rate upon launch.
