Registration Now Open for Escapees Annual Escapade
Club welcomes RVers to Rock Springs, Wyoming for 2021 event
LIVINGSTON, Texas- March 2021
Escapees RV Club’s annual RV rally, Escapade, takes place July 18-23 in Rock Springs, Wyoming. Tickets are available now to join Escapees in beautiful Wyoming.
What makes this event so memorable? Every day is full of educational and social opportunities with fellow RVers and every evening serves up unique talent and entertainment for attendees to enjoy.
Each Escapade brims with seminars, panel discussions, campsite chats, socials, activities, and so much more for RVers of all ages. What started as a small gathering of 24 families in 1979 has grown to host 900+ rigs and thousands of members and visitors in its 41-year history. In past years, seminars have included topics such as
- Investing strategies for RVers
- RV insurance (what affects rates & why)
- Lithium batteries & solar power
- RV driving safety
- Mobile internet
- Tire & weight safety
- And dozens more
Seminars and the marketplace are great opportunities for companies to educate RVers about the purpose and value of their products, too, and how they can make the RVing experience safer and/or easier. To inquire about opportunities for sponsors and vendors, visit the Escapade website here.
Kidscapade ensures even the youngest RVers have an opportunity to spend time with others like them! While parents and grandparents are attending seminars and socials, the kids get to come together and play, work on projects, and learn from both their peers and the Kidscapade staff.
Each evening, all attendees come together to enjoy live entertainment. Headlining acts for 2021 include Few Miles South, an up-and-coming country music group led by a duo who writes and produces their own songs, and Lucy Darling, a magician whose shows are a wonderful mix of playful improvisational comedy, hilarious witty writing, and impossible magical feats. The Status Crowes, popular RVing musicians, will also perform during Escapade, including headlining Thursday’s farewell fiesta that closes the week of fun and education.
“This year, more than ever, people are excited about getting together. Escapade will be a special homecoming for Escapee members after such a long time apart” says Jean Mathes. She and her husband Duane have served as Escapade Directors since 2017, embracing the hard work that is required to organize an event of this size.
Escapees is bringing Escapade to Rock Springs for a number of reasons. The area’s rich Wild West history is proudly displayed all throughout the town. With so much natural beauty to be found all around, visitors can soak up the outdoors with hiking, biking, kayaking, and fishing excursions, or simply enjoy the wildlife watching opportunities, including wild horses!
