Each Escapade brims with seminars, panel discussions, campsite chats, socials, activities, and so much more for RVers of all ages. What started as a small gathering of 24 families in 1979 has grown to host 900+ rigs and thousands of members and visitors in it’s 40 year history.
SKPs (a fond nickname for Escapees members) look forward to this opportunity to come together and reconnect, to share knowledge and often a drink or two.
“We’re already looking forward to seeing our many SKP friends there,” states Jim Tidball, SKP # 97596. As an attendee and volunteer of many years, Tidball has experienced Escapade from multiple perspectives. Dedication from members like the Tidballs is what makes this event such a success.
Though RV education is a key component of each Escapade, it is the feeling of community and friendship that encourages repeat attendees. Marianne Edwards, founder of Boondocker’s Welcome and popular presenter at Escapade shares “We left feeling enriched in many other unexpected ways: we felt part of the sharing and caring that are the principals Escapees RV Club was founded on.”
Registration for the 2019 event opens on September 4, 2018. To learn more about this event, and to register, visit escapees.com/escapade.
