As a thank you for your service to your country, Escapees is pleased to offer special discounts to new and existing members who are on active military duty or have been honorably discharged.

Active Duty Military

The expiration date on your military identification card will be used as your Escapees membership expiration date. You may remain an active duty member as long as you remain in the military. When you are discharged, you will no longer receive a free membership, but you may enroll as a veteran member.

These offers may not be combined with other promotions or discounts. Discount on Mail Forwarding Service does not include postage or enrollment fees. Store discounts do not include gift certificates and donations. For existing members, your membership fee discount will become effective on your next renewal; we cannot refund or prorate membership fees already paid.

How to get the military discount

  1. If you aren’t already an Escapees member, download, print and fill out the New Military Member Form. Leave the payment information blank if you are on active duty. If you are currently an Escapees member, we only need your SKP number and contact information.
  2. Make a copy or snap a clear photo of your military ID card (if on active duty) or any proof of honorable discharge from military service (DD214 in the US, NDI75 in Canada, VA card, or driver’s license with a veteran endorsement).
  3. Send the two items above, along with a check for payment of your membership fee (if applicable), to us by one of the following methods. Be sure to include your SKP number and contact information if you’re already a member.

We will retain your military paperwork for 24 hours and will then shred the documents the following business day. We simply need to verify your service—there’s no need for us to retain it thereafter.
